Meet Jesse Ortiz: From Teaching Students to Helping Homeowners
At Indiana Roof & Home, we believe homeowners deserve to understand what's happening with their homes. Our lead salesman, Jesse Ortiz, brings a teacher's approach to that conversation.
Originally from Thayer, Missouri, Jesse moved to Southern Indiana in the summer of 2024. With a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, he spent many years as a schoolteacher. He also brings a long history of experience in the trades.
Today, Jesse combines those backgrounds to help homeowners understand their roofs and home exteriors.
A Teacher's Heart, a Tradesman's Experience
Known as “the roof inspector” here at Indiana Roof & Home, Jesse has carried his love for teaching into his work with homeowners.
His goal is to explain what's wrong, why it matters, and what options are available. Roofing terms can be unfamiliar, and exterior problems can feel overwhelming. Jesse's teaching experience helps him break those conversations into clear, understandable information so homeowners can make informed decisions.
The classroom has changed, but his desire to help people learn remains.
